砂漠にただ一人自分だけがいるってどんな気持ち？
Is it nice to be alone in the desert by yourself?
私はたった一人で、広い広い乾いた砂漠の中で立っていた
I was standing in the middle of a huge, huge and dry desert all by myself
別に暑くもないし、お腹も空かない、のどの渇きもない
It wasn't hot, I was't hungry nor thirsty neither
それに何も感じない、うれしいとか、悲しいとか、
Furthermore, there wasn't any feeling, I wasn't happy nor I was sad
ただ自分はそこに立っているだけだった
There was only myself standing there
ふとした瞬間、勝手に自分の足は動きだして
In just a moment, my legs started to move by themselves
そんな雄大な砂漠の中をぽつりぽつりと
In such enormous desert, one step by one step
歩いてゆく
My legs started walking
夜が来て朝がきて昼がきて夕方がきて
The night came, the morning came, the afternoon came, the evening came
それでも歩いている
I continued walking
私はいったい何を目指しているのだろう
Where on earth am I heading to
幾晩もただ歩き続けてようやく見つけたのは
After walking non-stop for a few days and nights finally I found
とても小さなピンク色の花だった
A very tiny pink flower
ちょっと嬉しい気持ちになった
I was a little delighted
きっとここに置いていったら寂しいだろうなと思って
It must be lonely if it is left here, I thought
花を手に持ってまた歩いた
I took the flower in my hand and started walking again
歩いて歩いて、急に悲しい気持ちになった
As I walked along, suddenly a sense of sadness overwhelmed me
なぜ悲しいのかよくわからないけど
I had no idea why I was feeling sad
どうしても耐えきれなくなってすごい大きな涙が
No matter how hard I tried to hold back
ぼろっと、ぽろりなんてかわいい涙じゃなくて
It wasn't cute little drops of tears
すごいおっきな涙がこぼれた
But really huge drops tears started to flow
そしてら、何にもない砂漠に少し大きめの水たまりができた
And soon after, in this empty desert a little puddle was formed
私はそこに、手に持っていた花をそっといけてあげた
I took the flower in my hand and placed it in the puddle
するとそのお花はどんどん成長して
Then, the flower started to grow
いつの間にか色んな色の花が咲き始めていた
Very soon, flowers of various colours started to bloom
黄色、赤、水色、白、紫、、、
Yellow, red, blue, white, violet
とっても綺麗
Very pretty
でも花だけじゃなくて、木までその水たまりから生えてきた
Not only flower, even trees started to grow from that puddle of water
みるみる成長して、私の背も超しちゃって
The flowers and trees grew, and they grew taller than me
私が一度瞬きするたびに木と花は大きく、そしてたくさん
As I watched, the trees and flowers were getting bigger and bigger
数を増やしていった
And also increasing in numbers
私はうれしい気持ちになって感動した
I was so happy and so touched
木々花々は成長して
With trees and flowers growing
もう砂漠じゃなくて、美しい森と花畑が作られていった
It is not a desert any more, it has become a beautiful forest and flower beds
太陽の光もほどよく差し込み、気持ちいいくらいの気温
The sun is shinning in, and the temperature is comfortably nice
ここでずっと過ごしていたい
I want to stay here forever
そう思った瞬間、現実の世界、
As I was thinking so, just at that moment
自分のいつもの部屋に引き戻された
I returned to my own room where I always am
目が覚めてしまったみたい
Looks like I had waken up
ああ、残念
Oorh what a pity
あの綺麗な風景を見た後に自分の部屋を見て絶句した
Coming back to my own room after seeing such pretty scene
だって汚いから
What a mess is my room
うん、掃除しなきゃね
I need some cleaning up
何もない空っぽな場所とか物事から
From an empty place or from nothing
何か自分で創造して作っていく、始めていくことって
To create something out by yourself or to start something by yourself
とっても難しい
Is rather difficult
でも動き出したら何かチャンスが絶対見つかると思う
But after you have started out, certainly you will come across some opportunities
どんなに小さなチャンスだって
No matter how small the opportunities are
１００倍の成功につながるかもしれない
They may just lead you to a success 100 times bigger
小さなピンクの花から美しい森に成長したみたいにね
A tiny pink flower can also grow into a beautiful forest
