今日は子供の頃に見た夢をちょっと
Today I am going to talk about a dream that I had when I was a kid
私は風邪を引いて熱が出たとき
子供の頃から必ず見る夢がある
それは、いつ見ても全く同じ
When I was a kid,
Whenever I caught a cold or had fever
I would always have this dream
Each time, the dreams were exactly the same
私はある大きな病院の中にいる
とっても大きい、多分どこかの都市病院かな
内装もかなりきれいに設備されていて
なんだか最近建てられた感じがする
I was in this big hospital
It was really big, probably a hospital in a big city
The interior was also beautifully set up
It seemed like it has just been built recently.
私の姿は６歳くらい
今はもう大人だけど、夢の中では６歳の姿
I was 6 in the dream
Although I have grown up now, but in the dream I was still a 6 year old
私は病院の中をずーっと歩き回る
たくさん病室があって
私が必ず歩き回った先にたどり着く場所は
生まれたての赤ちゃんが眠っている
あのベビールームだ
I was wandering about in the hospital for a long time
There were many wards
The place that I must go to everytime
Is the place where all the new born babies were sleeping
みんな生まれたてだから
小さくて、弱々しくて
とっても可愛い
Because all the babies were just born
They were all so small and fragile
And extremely adorable
そのベビールームの横にはブルーの扉ががあって
私は必ずそのドアを開ける
At the side of the baby room there is a blue door
I would open that door everytime
開けた先には、なんと
広い広い工場が広がっているのだ
When I opened it,
It appeared to be a huge factory
その工場は何かって？
それはね
お腹の大きい妊娠したお母さんたちが
暖かい毛布がしいてある
ベルトコンベアーにみんな並べられて
一人一人、おもちゃみたいな機械に
お腹をぽんっと押されて赤ちゃんが生まれ
その赤ちゃんは小さな可愛いベットに
寝かされていくっていう
’赤ちゃん出産工場’なんだ
What kind of factory would that be?
Well,
There were many pregnant mothers with big tummies,
They were wrapped in warm towels
They were lined up on a conveyer belt
There were also these toy-like machines
One by one the machines press on the tummies of the women
And a baby was born
And the babies were transferred to these small cute beds for them to sleep
It is a BABY PRODUCING FACTORY
それは本当に大きい工場で
妊娠した母親はどれだけいるの
って訪ねたくなるくらいたくさんいる
It was really a huge factory
I wanted to ask how many
Pregnant women were there altogther
私はその工場に入ると、いつも
何だか寂しい気分になる
でもいっぱい可愛い赤ちゃんがいるから
あったかい気持ちにもなる
Everytime I entered into the factory
I always feel a sense of loneliness
But there were so many cute babies
There was also a sense of warmth inside
そして、その工場に入ったあと
必ず頭がボーッとなって
立っていられなくなると
変なぐねぐねした空間に吸い込まれて
Then, after entering the factory
I would stone there
Standing there
And then being sucked into another dimension
はって目が覚める
Suddenly I woke up
これが、私が熱をだして寝込んだとき
必ず見る子供の頃からの夢
This is a dream that I always saw when I was a kid
Whenever I had a fever
この夢を見るようになってのは
妹が生まれた病院にお祝いに病院に行った
あの日から
私はまだ６歳で、３つ下の弟もいたけど
妹も生まれたからしっかりしなきゃな、って
そう思ったあの日
今でも鮮明にあの日のことを覚えてる
I started to have this dream
Since the day I went to celebrate
The birth of my younger sister at the hospital
I was 6 and my brother who is 3 years younger were there too
That day I told myself
Since my younger sister is born
I have to work hard
だからかもしれない、この不思議な夢を見るようになったのは
This is probably the reason why I was having dreams like this.
